fable 5 flash: we tested 5 prompts, got zero usable outputs

fable 5 is back as "fable 5 flash" after the ban

fable 5 came back yesterday after the export-control ban lifted. but the feeds are full of complaints – devs saying it's sloppier, not the model they had before the ban. so we ran a test

first we asked fable 5 for html animation ideas. it gave five:

1. a solar system where planets grow procedural flora
2. a particle swarm that flocks, forms words, and flees the cursor
3. an endless neon ocean with a retro sun
4. glowing ink drops blooming in fluid on black
5. a brass orrery of gears with hidden constellations

then we asked it to build all five via api

the results were poor. 2 of 5 had visible rendering errors. the other 3 were slop

7m 25s and $6.48 spent. nothing usable

every output landed fast, except the last one. fable is flash, indeed
